I know SSMSBoost has stayed way from modifying intellisense right now. Thought I'd ask about the potential for 2 intellisense style features for consideration.

1) Hovering over the table name could show the schema info, columns, with datatypes, nullable, etc.

2) Possibility of populating a column list, kind of like Red Gate's sql prompt. When you type the column list is provided, and you can select all or partial with checkbox selection and then once tab/enter, it puts all these columns in a vertical select statement. Probably not in the scope of SSMSboost right now, but would be freaking nice to have's.

Right now both of these require me to use a snippet for col info, type in table name, and then copy and paste as appropriate. Are you guys considering any Intellisense improvements down the road?

As I understand, you want some kind a "quick reference" on objects. It is a good idea and we might implement it, but a bit later. Hovering is also "ok", if SSMS will allow us to get these events, without hacking.

We have "experimental" feature that approximately does what you need. I am not happy with UI, but I might release a Preview version of it and will post then here a link, so you can say it it is what you want.

thanks !
