Optionally Every executed sql text can be saved in a file with yyyymmddhhmmss_spid_servername.sql like filename and also every window content can be saved every configurable so often if there is a change made to it.
The directory of saved files, the retention period and settings should be per user.

This is nice idea and we have already it in our to-do list. The way you see it also matches our vision. It will be implemented within next 2-3 releases.

Thanks Andrei for the response in email format. I'd like to further ask in this forum if you have plans for the same type of "search" through query functionality that SSMS Toolspack had offered. Without a search built it might not be very feasible to find the material you are looking for. Thanks for the great product!

Which Search do you mean ? Search for objects ? SSMSBoost has Objects search - look at the toolbar. Cross-DB searching with wildcards is supported.
Or you mean some other kind of search ?

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. I'm referring to the ability to search through your previous queries looking at server, procedure name, and even the text inside the file.

See: http://www.ssmstoolspack.com/Features  and expand the history section. This is currently the only thing I miss in SSMS Toolspack. This lets me always back track to look into the sessions as well as any queries I executed, with the window being saved every X minutes, so I can look at all the changes for query.

Thanks again!

Ok, clear. Yes - we plan to implement it in next 1-3 releases. Stay tuned.
