Hi A few requests regarding auto-replacements.

1) I have noticed that special characters cannot be used in tokens, except for the dot/period , and I can only use that if it appears as the last character of the token.
It would be very helpful for me if more special characters could be used in tokens and not just at the end of the token. I often use ,;<>' in other IDE's to trigger snippets/auto-replacements.

2) It is very annoying that I cannot keep the auto-replacement setup window open while I code and/or cannot test new tokens. It would be nice to be able to keep this window open without blocking the IDE and/or be able to go directly to it via a hot-key.

3) It would be very helpful to have all auto-replacements defined in a single xml file.

4) I auto generate auto-replacement xml files but they SSMS boost is not aware of them until I restart SSMS. Can this be fixed?

Thanks

1. can you please provide any sample, that would not work?
2. this is by design: settings are critical to many features and we have to re-initialize some of handlers after the modification.
3. we moved from that to file-based version, because it allows to copy and share single templates just copying single files.
4. to refresh/load new files just open settings and hit "apply and save". When settings are opened, all autoreplacement xml files are automatically re-loaded.

For #2 then it would be nice to at least be able to open it via a key combination.

Here is an exmple of a token with a scpecial character that does not work:

The following xml file is generated from the token 'a>test'

xml file ends up getting named autoreplacement.xml, probably because it can't name it 'a>test.xml'

<Token>a&gt;test</Token>
<Name>aTest</Name>
<CaseSensitive>false</CaseSensitive>
<SelectReplacement>false</SelectReplacement>
<Replacement>This is a Test</Replacement>
