Hi,

I am trying to configure a Grid Scripting Template that exports my grid result to a CSV file.

I have almost done it, but I have a problem when a cell contains a " ; " within it's text.

I haven't found how to replace a char to another. Maybe using "Data formatters" tab ?

Can you help me to configure my Template ?

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

MS

Well, there is no way to replace it.. I thought, if you place strings inside of quotes and ";" symbol is inside the string, it should be treated as a part of string. Isn't it so?
Do you quote strings?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I don't quote strings because it may be quotes within strings themselves, and we just want ";" for standard CSV.

Anyway, I have replaced ";" by "|" and ensured that there are no "|" within any string and it works fine. But as soon as I will extract data containing "|" I will have the same problem.

Regards,

Ok, thank you for letting us know.
In case, you are exporting data to Excel, you can use the template to script data as XML Spreadsheet.
