"Find in Grid" feature can be useful to quickly find needed result in grid (especially in large set of rows) .

Another sub-feature - generate data subset from ResultGrid using user defined filter.

Can you implement this feature?

Thank you.

->Yes - this is very useful one - we will implement it (already on our list)

->Take a look at our grid scripter: Select data in grid that you want to copy and right-click->Copy as->....
there are a lot of templates there and you can write your own. Maybe it is already what you want. Otherwise please write a bit more datail about your proposal

Any template only transforms all resutset into user-defined form. I am talking not about resutset visual(lets call it in such way) presentation but about data filling.
Shortly: you have large resulset, RMB on resulset - "Generate using current value", and you have in output resultset rows containing only selected value in selected column.

With current "Copy as" you have 2 options:

have a look at

-Copy as "WHERE" - if you have marked columns with primary key (or columns that identify uniquely the records), you will get a WHERE statement, that you simply add to your SELECT statement and execute it again, ang get filtered results set (ok - with all columns)

another option

-Copy as "SELECT" - it copies all seleced data in "SELECT from VALUES" form, so you can execute generated statement everywhere and get same dataset. (try it !). Current limitation - everything is scripted as strings. In next releases this will be improved.

You are right. Second option makes it possible. First one sometimes can not be usable (ex. in SP output).

BTW: In SSMS keyboard shortcuts i saw templates can be assigned to shortcuts, but it have internal names like 'GridDataCopyTemplate()'. Is there a possibility to add shortcut to specific template without tries to assign shortcut to every template?

Ok, you mean that template names must be more understandable ? Ok, I will note it in to-do.
