I just saw the notification "Your Community license for current release version has expired. To continue using SSMSBoost visit www.ssmsboost.com  and download newer release of the product."
Where can I download newer release?

Mine expired today too. I got the email with the new license key and it did not reactivate. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and same thing.

Same thing here. Reactivation is useless.
We need another fresh version.

Dear Users
We have a delay releasing next version. Currently the release is planned to 10-th of January.
it will have SSMS 2018 support and some new features, like "Select current statement".

My SSMS says I now have 3 days left. Will it just keep going? Also, will SSMS ever consider a month to month license? My work won't pay for this but I feel you should be paid and would like to pay month to month rather than once a year. Kinda like my VPN service 🙂

My community license has now expired, so no SSMS Boost until the new version is made available. It would be great if the community license were set not to expire if a newer version is not yet available.

Now i can't use ssmsboost anymore and it's frustrating.
Why can't you make a new build or a hotfix

If the release is two days away, I would prefer they work on it and get it done than stop to build a temp release.

Release of v3.5 is available on the website for download

SSMSBoost v3.5
-Supports latest SSMS releases: SSMS 17.9 and SSMS 18.0 Preview 6
-NEW feature "Select current statement" command. Default shortcut: Shift+F5

(Previously feature worked only in INSERT .. VALUES statement)

customizable regex pattern to look for repetitions of the selection
-Safety: "No" is now default action button in "Fatal actions guard" confirmation dialogs
-Wildcards can now be used to define tables, ignored by "Fatal actions guard"
-Added "Show only frozen" filter to "Open recent.." dialogs
-Added "Restore connection" control option to "Open recent tab" dialog
-DataGrid returns max 10MB of data in a single cell which affects "Visualize" functionality.
SSMSBoost will now show warning message if this situation occurs and data was truncated
-Preferred connections can now be tested directly from Settings dialog
-Added display of "NULLs count" and "Count" for binary columns in "Aggregates" dialog
-Floating info tooltips have now "copy to clipboard button"

Is there a new version expected soon?

The last version is now at least 4 months old.

Same story here as well... If there are challenges to keep up with releases in time to avoid people to have "uncovered" period of times, it might be a good idea to identify some temporary solution for community users who have their licenses deactivated during the time between one release and the next.
or perhaps it is just a way to make us feel the pain of not having purchased the pro version, in which case we might have to find an alternative solution to SSM boost...

We are sorry for the delay, good intentions lead to unexpected time-consuming tasks...
We will publish the Release Candidate on 9-th of May if all goes good. If something will not work, new version will be published on Saturday, 11-th of May.

Now I'm reminded of why I stopped using SSMS Boost for awhile the last time. I don't have time to jump through all these hoops every time the community license expires.

Hi Andrei, this does not appear like it has posted yet.

Perhaps you can consider increasing the community period to match the current release cycle (bump up to 5 months)?

We have realized today, that it was not so easy to change this setting, as far as it it touches the website and some other licensing variables.
For now - we have managed to make the release!

v 3.6 released!

Changelog:
-Supports latest Final Release of SSMS 18.0
-"Object Search dialog" completely redesigned:
-improved speed
-improved UI
-Search for columns
-Search for parameters
-"Favorite" object types (limit search results to usable subset)
-Information about column and parameter datatypes
-Dbl-Click on object in search results sets it as filter (quick way to see all columns of the table)
-New "Search for object by token" (Shift-F2) functionality: immediately sets current text string
under the cursor as filter string in the Object Search dialog. This is useful, for
example, when you want to find all occurrences of some column across all database objects.
-Source code highlighting can be now configured to re-use native fonts/colors formats
which user can re-define under "Tools->Options->Environment->Fonts and Colors".
For more information see SSMSBoost Settings->"Source Highlighting"
-UI Improvement: "Show frozen" check box state in "Open Recent" dialog is now persistent
-Fatal actions guard now recognizes "WHERE CURRENT OF" as safe condition
